The topic for this week’s episode of the PrincessCast is British TV! We all know that The Office started out as a British comedy, and everyone has heard of Monty Python, but we’re uncovering some other gems from across the pond that have been ignored by American audiences. What to watch, where to watch it, and why do we feel the need to Americanize some of the best shows the U.K. has to offer? And Ska shares her knowledge of funny Brit TV quotes.
We have a lot of comics to talk about this week. Meg went on a reading spree, and Spazzy and Mary both read Chew. Meg and Spaced pose the question: who is crazier, Frank Miller or Garth Ennis? Also, this past weekend, Spazzy went to her first comic convention! She brings us her thoughts on Wizard World Austin. To wrap things up, we briefly discuss our favorite Joss Whedon shows and characters, and Spaced implores everyone to give Buffy the Vampire Slayer another chance.
